Real Madrid responded well to Copa del Rey exit with fight back from one goal behind to win the La liga tie against Real Zaragoza 3-1 at the Bernabeu, thanks to goals from Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and Mezil Ozil.

Manchester City maintained 100% home record this season after snatching 3-2 victory in five-goal thriller. Samir Nasri opened the score line with fantastic goal after super vision and assist from David Silva, the leading top assistor in premier league this season. Joleon Lescott went in with the ball to make it 2-0. Jermain Defoe capitalized on defence error to pull one back before Gareth Bale superb direct volley to level the score 2-2.

Then came Jermain Defoe miss in final minutes, he just miss timed the ball following good effort from Bale. Spurs then have to pay the price, Mario Balotelli fouled by Ledley King in penalty box, Balotelli converted the spot kick on 94 minutes. Los Angeles Galaxy squad for 2011-2012 season including new Major League Soccer signings for champions. David Beckahm have extended his contract after despite PSG transfer rumours to join Ancelotti in a bid to strengthen the squad. Having being knocked out of Champion league and FA cup, City boys have to pull their socks and try win the second leg Carling cup tie or else they will be knocked out in third title challenge. Mancini and his boys also have to concentrate on winning the Barclays premier league and have advantage of being three points ahead of Manchester United and Tottenham Spurs. Man City manager is expecting to sign new face in January Premier league transfer window to cover for African players.

Tottenham Spurs meet in the game that was postponed on premier league opening day. The on form Spurs won 2-0 to level point with United and only three point behind Manchester City and eight point clear from fourth placed Chelsea that are a point on top of Arsenal. The goals come from Aaron Lennon on 35th and then came the super striker goals by Benoit Assou-Ekotto on 63rd which assured Tottenham of three points. Tottenham hotspurs are on the right right course to mark their fight for premier league title and prove their wealth in sport world.

Lionel Messi won his third consecutive FIFA Ballon d'Or award after beating Cristiano Ronaldo and Xavi. So far he has won every title and some of them twice but the world cup still a tough one despite the possibilities of playing two more world cups. Individually he performed well, but also get a push fantastic top player like Inesta and second run-up Xavi. Club achievement played a major role and made it easy for him to beat Cristiano Ronaldo. Spanish Liga title, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup. Messi has become the second player after Michel Platini to have won the Ballon D'Or awards in three consecutive years.
