Usain Bolt break 200m record finishing at 19.19 seconds

Jamaican athletic, Usain Bolt have again smashed the previous 200m record he set in Beijing Olympic last year finishing at 19.19 seconds. The event came after he has recently set new world record of 9.58 sec in 100m breaking 9.69sec record he set in Beijing Olympic.

Usain Bolt break world record at 9.58 to win 100min final in Berlin

Usain Bolt has broken the 100m world record with a time of 9.58sec in the final of the World Athletics Championship. He break the world record he set in last year's Olympic game in of 9.69sec.

"I was feeling good after the semis. I knew it was going to be a great race and I executed it," Bolt said. "It's a great time, a great feeling, I feel good in myself and I knew I could do it.

"There was a big build up, great atmosphere. It wasn't going to be an easy race but I had a perfect start and just went from there.

Powell, Bolt and Gay ease into 100m semis in ATHLETICS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS in Berlin

Triple Olympic champion Usain Bolt and American Tyson Gay both eased into Sunday's 100m semi-finals at the World Championships in Berlin. Reigning world champion Gay finished the quarter-final in 9.98 seconds, while Bolt was so far ahead he could share a smile with heat winner Daniel Bailey.

"I didn't need to do any more work. I was just enjoying myself," said Bolt.
British duo Dwain Chambers and Tyrone Edgar both qualified for the semis but Simeon Williamson missed out.

Former world record-holder Asafa Powell only just squeezed through his opening heat in third place, when easing up after 60m, but made no mistake in the quarter-finals, setting the fastest time of 9.95. Read more at bbc.co.uk
